Year after year many new farmers throughout the world decide to convert to organic agriculture according to Naturland standards. Naturland certification is done according the Naturland standards that are consistently valid throughout the world, whether the Naturland farmer is in Europe, in the tropics or sub-tropics. The standards are adapted to the requirements of the plants cultivated and the local conditions such as the soil and the climate.

Naturland certification
- Exchange of information: After exchange of information and your decision for a Naturland certification the operation will be inspected according to Naturland standards.
- Inspection: Naturland entrusts independent inspection bodies with the first inspection. The objective of the inspection is a detailed inventory of the operation, including all steps of production, storage, transport, labelling. The results are completed in an inspection report.
- Certification: The Naturland Association forwards the inspection report, together with further data and information regarding the farm/organisation, to the Naturland certification committee. The certification committee decides on the admission and certification of new farms as Naturland members.

Naturland fee schedule
The membership fee for farms is raised per hectare (2 EURO/Hectares), for small farmer’s organizations it is raised per farmer (1 EURO/ farmer). In addition the Naturland members pay a annual fee based on the annual turnover accomplished through the net-sales of all certified products.
