Financial assistance
If you decide to convert to organic agriculture according to Naturland’s standards, we can find out for you whether you are entitled to financial aid from the state and what other assistance may be available to you

The contracts
Should you decide to become a partner of Naturland, you would then have to conclude a licence agreement with Naturland Zeichen GmbH. The main points of this licence agreement comprise commitment to adherence to Naturland’s standards, agreement with the prescribed inspection procedure, and your rights and obligations in connection with the use of the Naturland trademark. In addition, the licence fee will be determined, depending on the product group

Inspection procedure
The inspection procedure is performed on Naturland’s behalf by state-licensed inspection bodies. This ensures that the inspection procedure is independent and unbiased. Wherever possible, co-operation is sought with domestic organisations. The inspection procedure covers both Naturland’s standards and European Council Regulations (EEC) No. 834/2007 and 1804/1999.

Certification
Certification, and thus the decision as to whether an enterprise is entitled to sell its products with reference to production and processing according to Naturland’s standards, are the responsibility of Naturland’s certification committee. The committee’s decision is taken on the basis of the results and facts presented in the inspection report. The certification committee comprises specialists from various fields – processors, consumers, producers etc. – and is defined under the articles of the association as an independent body.
